Uses
Used for treatment of hypertension and reduction of cardiovascular risk through blood pressure control.
Do not use if
Contraindicated in hypersensitivity to candesartan, hydrochlorothiazide, sulfonamides, and with aliskiren in diabetic patients.
Side effects
Dizziness, fatigue, hypotension, electrolyte disturbances, and increased urination may occur.
Warnings
Can cause fetal harm during pregnancy. Monitor renal function and electrolyte levels.
How it works
Combines an angiotensin II receptor blocker with a thiazide diuretic to lower blood pressure.
Storage
Store at room temperature.
