Uses
Intermediate-acting human insulin used for glycemic control in patients with diabetes mellitus.
Do not use if
Contraindicated during episodes of hypoglycemia and in patients with hypersensitivity to insulin or formulation components.
Side effects
Hypoglycemia, weight gain, injection-site reactions, and lipodystrophy may occur.
Warnings
Monitor blood glucose regularly. Dose adjustments may be needed with changes in diet, activity, or illness.
