Uses

Used for the treatment of myelodysplastic syndromes, acute myeloid leukemia, and related hematologic disorders.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to azacitidine or mannitol.

May cause bone marrow suppression, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue, and injection-site reactions.

Requires close monitoring of blood counts, liver function, and renal function.

A nucleoside metabolic inhibitor that affects DNA methylation and cellular differentiation.

Store according to manufacturer recommendations and protect from excessive heat.
