Uses

Used as nicotine replacement therapy to reduce withdrawal symptoms and cravings during smoking cessation.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to nicotine or formulation components.

May cause nausea, dizziness, hiccups, mouth irritation, palpitations, and gastrointestinal discomfort.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only after medical evaluation. Watch for symptoms of nicotine overdose.

Nicotine stimulates nicotinic cholinergic receptors and reduces withdrawal symptoms by replacing nicotine from tobacco.

Store at 20–25°C, protect from light, and keep container tightly closed.
