Uses

Used with follicle-stimulating hormone to stimulate follicular development in certain women with infertility due to severe LH deficiency.

Do not use if

Pregnancy, unexplained gynecological bleeding, ovarian enlargement not due to polycystic ovary syndrome, and hormone-dependent tumors.

Injection-site reactions, headache, abdominal pain, ovarian enlargement, and ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome.

Requires specialist monitoring because of the risk of ovarian hyperstimulation and multiple pregnancy.

Recombinant luteinizing hormone that supports ovarian follicular maturation and steroid hormone production.

Store according to manufacturer instructions, usually refrigerated before use.
