Uses

Used for susceptible bacterial infections including urinary tract, respiratory tract, gastrointestinal, and certain opportunistic infections.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in severe sulfonamide allergy, severe hepatic impairment, severe renal impairment, and megaloblastic anemia due to folate deficiency.

Nausea, vomiting, rash, diarrhea, and hypersensitivity reactions may occur.

May cause severe skin reactions and blood disorders. Ensure adequate hydration during treatment.

Combination antibiotic that sequentially inhibits bacterial folate synthesis.

Store at room temperature.
