Uses
Used for epilepsy and maintenance treatment of bipolar I disorder in selected patients.
Do not use if
Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to lamotrigine or formulation components.
Side effects
Dizziness, headache, diplopia, nausea, insomnia, and skin rash may occur.
Warnings
May cause serious skin reactions including Stevens-Johnson syndrome. Rash requires prompt medical evaluation.
