Uses
Used for prevention of certain supraventricular and ventricular arrhythmias in appropriately selected patients.
Do not use if
Second- or third-degree AV block without pacemaker, cardiogenic shock, or severe conduction disorders.
Side effects
May cause dizziness, visual disturbances, palpitations, worsening arrhythmias, or heart failure symptoms.
Warnings
May increase the risk of serious arrhythmias in some patients. Requires specialist supervision.
