Uses
Used for reversal of neuromuscular blockade induced by rocuronium or vecuronium during surgery.
Do not use if
Known hypersensitivity to sugammadex or any component of the formulation.
Side effects
Vomiting, pain, bradycardia, hypersensitivity reactions, and rarely anaphylaxis may occur.
Warnings
Monitor for anaphylaxis and marked bradycardia after administration.
How it works
Modified gamma-cyclodextrin that encapsulates rocuronium and vecuronium to reverse neuromuscular blockade.
