Uses

Used for treatment of erectile dysfunction and as an adjunct in diagnostic evaluation of erectile dysfunction.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients predisposed to priapism, penile deformities, or hypersensitivity to alprostadil.

Penile pain is common. Prolonged erection, priapism, and local fibrosis may occur.

Seek immediate medical attention for erections lasting more than four hours.

A prostaglandin E1 agonist that relaxes smooth muscle and increases penile blood flow.

Store according to manufacturer instructions and protect from excessive heat.
