Uses
Topical hydrogel/emollient cream used for wound care, skin hydration, and protection. Medical-grade honey provides antimicrobial and wound-healing properties; lanolin and CMC (carboxymethylcellulose) maintain moisture; vitamins C and E offer antioxidant skin support.
Do not use if
Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any component, including lanolin, honey, or its excipients. Avoid use in deep puncture wounds without medical supervision.
Side effects
Generally well tolerated. Rare cases of contact sensitivity to lanolin or honey may occur. Localized itching or rash has been reported infrequently.
Warnings
For external use only. If signs of infection develop, discontinue use and seek medical advice. Avoid contact with eyes. Use in diabetic wound care only under medical supervision.
How it works
CMC forms a moist gel matrix that supports wound healing. Lanolin acts as an emollient and occlusive agent retaining skin moisture. Medical-grade honey exerts broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity and creates an optimal wound pH. Vitamins C and E protect against oxidative stress in healing tissue.
Storage
Store at room temperature (15–25°C). Do not freeze. Keep away from direct sunlight and heat.
