Uses

Antioxidant nutritional supplement providing a combination of vitamins, trace elements, and bioflavonoids to protect cells from oxidative stress, support immune function, and maintain skin, vision, and metabolic health.

Do not use if

Hypervitaminosis A. Hypersensitivity to any component. Use with caution in patients receiving anticoagulants (vitamin E effect).

Side effects

Generally well tolerated. High-dose vitamin A may cause toxicity. Selenium excess can cause selenosis (hair loss, nail changes, neurological symptoms). Zinc excess may impair copper absorption.

Warnings

Do not exceed recommended doses. High-dose biotin may interfere with immunoassay-based laboratory tests. Consult a physician before use in pregnancy.

How it works

Vitamins A, C, and E are direct antioxidants that neutralize free radicals. Selenium is a cofactor for glutathione peroxidase. Zinc supports superoxide dismutase activity. Bioflavonoids scavenge reactive oxygen species. Biotin supports enzymatic carboxylation reactions. Molybdenum is a cofactor for xanthine oxidase and sulfite oxidase.
