Uses

This topical combination is used as a massage preparation for temporary relief of minor muscle and joint pain, arthritis, backache, and sports-related muscle soreness. The ingredients act as counterirritants and mild analgesics.

Do not use if

For external use only. Contraindicated in known hypersensitivity to any ingredient. Do not apply to broken skin, wounds, or mucous membranes. Avoid use in infants and young children, especially near the face.

Side effects

Skin irritation, redness, or a burning sensation at the application site may occur. Rarely, contact dermatitis or allergic reactions develop. Inhalation of high concentrations of camphor or eucalyptus vapors may cause dizziness.

Warnings

Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Do not bandage tightly after application. Wash hands thoroughly after use. Keep away from open flames as product may be flammable.

How it works

Camphor and menthol act as counterirritants, stimulating cutaneous receptors to create sensations of cooling and warmth that distract from underlying pain. Eucalyptus oil has mild anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. Cetyl myristoleate may have lubricating and anti-inflammatory effects on joints.

Store at room temperature below 30°C, away from heat and direct sunlight. Keep tightly closed.
