Contraindicated in patients with hypercalcemia, hypervitaminosis D, or hypersensitivity to any component. Patients with fish allergy should use omega-3 fish oil with caution.
Side effects
Adverse effects may include fishy aftertaste, nausea, and mild gastrointestinal complaints from omega-3. High doses of vitamin D may cause hypercalcemia, hypercalciuria, and related symptoms. Allergic reactions are possible at any dose.
Warnings
Keep iron-containing supplements out of reach of children. Accidental overdose of vitamin D in large amounts may cause toxicity. Store away from moisture and excessive heat. Consult a physician if pregnant or breastfeeding.
How it works
Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA/DHA) reduce triglycerides and modulate inflammatory pathways. Vitamin D regulates calcium and phosphate homeostasis via nuclear receptors, supporting bone mineralization and immune cell function.
Storage
Store at room temperature, approximately 15–30°C. Avoid excessive heat, light, and moisture.
