Uses
Indicated for certain EGFR mutation-positive metastatic non-small cell lung cancers and for metastatic squamous NSCLC after platinum-based chemotherapy.
Do not use if
No specific absolute contraindications are listed, but hypersensitivity to the drug requires discontinuation.
Side effects
Common adverse effects include diarrhea, rash, skin reactions, mouth inflammation, and nail disorders. Serious pulmonary, hepatic, and gastrointestinal complications may occur.
Warnings
Monitor for severe diarrhea, skin toxicity, interstitial lung disease, hepatic injury, and dehydration.
