Uses

Disease-modifying therapy used for relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis.

Do not use if

Severe hepatic impairment, pregnancy, or hypersensitivity.

Elevated liver enzymes, diarrhea, nausea, hair thinning, and headache may occur.

Monitor liver function and avoid use during pregnancy.

Inhibits pyrimidine synthesis and reduces proliferation of activated lymphocytes.

Store at room temperature.
