Uses
Topical combination product used to relieve symptoms of hemorrhoids and perianal irritation, including pain, itching, burning, and swelling.
Do not use if
Hypersensitivity to any ingredient, including lidocaine or other amide/ester anesthetics. Avoid on severely infected anorectal tissue.
Side effects
Local skin reactions such as irritation, burning, or allergic contact dermatitis may occur. Systemic effects are rare with topical use.
Warnings
Not for prolonged use without medical supervision. Lidocaine-containing preparations may cause systemic toxicity if applied to large areas or abraded skin.
How it works
Lidocaine extract provides local anesthesia to reduce pain and itching. Zinc oxide has astringent and protective properties. Chamomile and witch hazel (hamamelis) exert anti-inflammatory and vasoconstrictive effects. Ammi visnaga extract has antispasmodic properties. Liposomal delivery enhances penetration of active components.
