Uses
Used for the management of hypertension and edema associated with heart failure, liver disease, or renal disorders.
Do not use if
Contraindicated in anuria and in patients with hypersensitivity to chlorthalidone or sulfonamide-derived drugs.
Side effects
May cause dizziness, electrolyte imbalance, nausea, weakness, increased urination, or low blood pressure.
