Uses

Indicated for the treatment of COVID-19 in adults and pediatric patients who are hospitalized or at high risk of progression to severe disease.

Do not use if

History of clinically significant hypersensitivity to remdesivir or any component of the formulation.

Common adverse effects include nausea, elevated liver enzymes, infusion-related reactions, and hypersensitivity reactions.

Monitor for hypersensitivity reactions and liver function abnormalities during treatment.

Antiviral nucleotide analog that inhibits SARS-CoV-2 RNA-dependent RNA polymerase and interferes with viral replication.

Store vials below 30°C according to manufacturer recommendations. Discard partially used vials.
