Uses

Used for relief of pain, inflammation, and fever. It may also be used for antiplatelet effects depending on the formulation.

Do not use if

Active peptic ulcer disease, bleeding disorders, aspirin hypersensitivity, or severe NSAID intolerance.

Gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, dyspepsia, bleeding, or hypersensitivity reactions may occur.

Use cautiously in patients at risk of bleeding or gastrointestinal complications.

Aspirin inhibits cyclooxygenase enzymes, reducing prostaglandin synthesis and platelet aggregation.

Store in a dry place at room temperature.
