Uses

Used for induction of ovulation in infertile women, ovarian stimulation in assisted reproduction, and induction of spermatogenesis in selected infertile men.

Do not use if

Primary gonadal failure, uncontrolled endocrine disorders, hormone-dependent tumors, hypersensitivity, or unexplained genital bleeding.

Side effects

Injection-site reactions, headache, abdominal pain, ovarian enlargement, and ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome may occur.

Warnings

Monitor for ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, multiple pregnancy, thromboembolic events, and hypersensitivity reactions.
