Uses

Used for prevention and treatment of potassium deficiency.

Do not use if

Hyperkalemia or concomitant use with certain potassium-sparing agents.

Nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort, diarrhea, and hyperkalemia may occur.

Monitor serum potassium and renal function. Take oral forms with food.

Potassium is the major intracellular cation essential for nerve and muscle function.

Store at room temperature.
