Used for erosive esophagitis, maintenance of healed esophagitis, and symptomatic gastroesophageal reflux disease.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in hypersensitivity to dexlansoprazole or other formulation components.

Diarrhea, abdominal pain, nausea, flatulence, and upper respiratory infections may occur.

Long-term use may increase the risk of fractures, infections, kidney injury, and vitamin B12 deficiency.

Proton pump inhibitor that suppresses gastric acid secretion by inhibiting the gastric H+/K+-ATPase.
