Uses
Used as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in type 2 diabetes and to reduce major cardiovascular events in eligible adults.
Do not use if
Contraindicated in patients with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma, MEN2 syndrome, or serious hypersensitivity to dulaglutide.
Side effects
Common adverse effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and decreased appetite.
Warnings
Monitor for pancreatitis, severe gastrointestinal reactions, and possible thyroid tumor risk.
How it works
