Uses

Treatment of moderate to severe plaque psoriasis, active psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and other inflammatory spondyloarthropathies in eligible patients.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with a history of serious hypersensitivity to secukinumab or any formulation component.

Side effects

Common effects include nasopharyngitis, upper respiratory infections, diarrhea, and headache. Hypersensitivity reactions and serious infections may occur.

Warnings

Monitor for serious infections, hypersensitivity reactions, and possible worsening of inflammatory bowel disease. Evaluate infection risk before treatment.
