Uses

Used as an intravenous source of water and electrolytes for fluid and electrolyte replacement.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to the solution and in neonates receiving ceftriaxone concurrently.

Electrolyte imbalances, fluid overload, infusion-site reactions, and hypersensitivity may occur.

Monitor electrolyte levels and fluid status. Special caution is required with ceftriaxone.

Provides essential extracellular electrolytes and water to maintain fluid balance and physiological function.

Store according to manufacturer instructions and avoid freezing.
