Uses

Treatment of iron-responsive anemias including pregnancy-related anemia, blood loss, and nutritional deficiency states.

Do not use if

Hypersensitivity to ingredients. Folic acid alone is not appropriate treatment for pernicious anemia.

Allergic reactions are uncommon. Gastrointestinal discomfort and constipation may occur.

Accidental iron overdose may be fatal in children. Seek immediate medical attention if overdose occurs.

Iron is essential for hemoglobin synthesis and oxygen transport. Folic acid supports nucleic acid synthesis and normal erythropoiesis.

Store at room temperature in the original package and keep protected from moisture.
