Uses

Antibacterial combination used for susceptible urinary, respiratory, and gastrointestinal infections.

Do not use if

Sulfonamide allergy, severe hepatic impairment, severe renal impairment, or megaloblastic anemia due to folate deficiency.

Nausea, rash, diarrhea, photosensitivity, and hypersensitivity reactions may occur.

Maintain adequate hydration and monitor for severe skin reactions.

Sequential inhibition of bacterial folate synthesis produces a synergistic antibacterial effect.

Store at room temperature.
