Uses

Used for urinary tract, skin, soft tissue, pharyngeal, and tonsillar infections caused by susceptible bacteria.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with known allergy to cephalosporins.

Diarrhea, nausea, dyspepsia, rash, and allergic reactions may occur.

Use cautiously in patients with a history of penicillin allergy.

First-generation cephalosporin that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis.

Store at room temperature in a dry place.
