Uses
Used for susceptible bacterial infections including respiratory, urinary, intra-abdominal, skin, and bloodstream infections.
Do not use if
Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to cefoperazone, cephalosporins, or other beta-lactam antibiotics.
Side effects
Diarrhea, rash, injection-site reactions, nausea, and allergic reactions may occur.
Warnings
May cause serious hypersensitivity reactions and Clostridioides difficile-associated diarrhea.
