Uses

Used for glycemic control in diabetes mellitus requiring both intermediate-acting and short-acting insulin coverage.

Do not use if

Contraindicated during hypoglycemic episodes and in patients with hypersensitivity to insulin preparations.

May cause hypoglycemia, weight gain, injection-site reactions, and lipodystrophy.

Blood glucose monitoring and individualized dose adjustments are essential.

Combines rapid and intermediate-duration human insulin to provide basal and mealtime glucose control.

Store refrigerated at 2–8°C before use. Do not freeze.
