Uses

Used for diarrhea when antibacterial therapy is considered appropriate and directed by a healthcare professional.

Do not use if

Sulfonamide allergy, severe liver disease, severe renal impairment, or hypersensitivity to ingredients.

May cause nausea, rash, abdominal discomfort, or allergic reactions.

Use only when appropriate for bacterial infection and monitor for allergic reactions.

Trimethoprim and sulfamethoxazole inhibit bacterial folate synthesis, while kaolin and pectin provide symptomatic support.

Store below 25°C.
