Uses

Used topically for acne vulgaris and photoaged skin. Oral formulations are used in acute promyelocytic leukemia.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to tretinoin or other retinoids.

Skin irritation, redness, peeling, dryness, and photosensitivity may occur with topical use.

Avoid use during pregnancy due to fetal risk. Limit excessive sun exposure during treatment.

Retinoid that regulates cell differentiation and proliferation. It promotes normalization of epithelial turnover.

Store at room temperature and protect from excessive heat and light.
