Uses

Used in patients who require both blood pressure reduction and cholesterol lowering. Helps reduce cardiovascular risk in appropriate patients.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in acute liver failure, decompensated cirrhosis, and hypersensitivity to either component.

Edema, dizziness, headache, muscle pain, elevated liver enzymes, and fatigue may occur.

Monitor for muscle toxicity, liver dysfunction, and interactions that increase statin exposure.

Combines a calcium channel blocker with an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor to lower blood pressure and cholesterol.

Store at 15–30°C.
