Uses

Used for mild to moderate infections including respiratory tract, skin, urinary tract, and ear infections caused by susceptible bacteria.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to cefpodoxime or cephalosporin antibiotics.

Diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain, headache, and rash may occur.

Use cautiously in patients with a history of penicillin or cephalosporin allergy.

Third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis.

Store at room temperature.
