Uses

Used as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in severe hypersensitivity to either component and generally not recommended in severe renal impairment.

Urinary tract infections, genital fungal infections, increased urination, and nasopharyngitis may occur.

Monitor for ketoacidosis, dehydration, pancreatitis, and serious urinary infections.

Combines an SGLT2 inhibitor that increases urinary glucose excretion with a DPP-4 inhibitor that enhances incretin activity.

Store at 20–25°C and protect from excessive humidity.
