Uses
Used for hypertension, heart failure, and reduction of cardiovascular risk after myocardial infarction.
Do not use if
Contraindicated in hypersensitivity to valsartan and during pregnancy. Avoid combination with aliskiren in diabetic patients.
Side effects
Hypotension, dizziness, hyperkalemia, fatigue, and renal function impairment may occur.
