Uses

Peripheral vasodilator and uterine relaxant used for selected peripheral vascular disorders and to reduce uterine contractions in specific clinical situations.

Do not use if

Recent arterial bleeding, severe hypotension, significant cardiac disease, or hypersensitivity to the drug.

Side effects

May cause tachycardia, palpitations, dizziness, flushing, hypotension, nausea, and nervousness.

Warnings

Use cautiously in patients with cardiovascular disease due to potential effects on heart rate and blood pressure.
