Uses

Used for prevention of angina pectoris associated with coronary artery disease.

Do not use if

Contraindicated with phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitors and in patients with hypersensitivity to nitrates.

Headache, dizziness, flushing, hypotension, and weakness may occur.

May cause severe hypotension when combined with erectile dysfunction medications.

Organic nitrate that releases nitric oxide and relaxes vascular smooth muscle, reducing cardiac workload.

Store at room temperature in a tightly closed container.
