Uses

Antiseptic used for control of gingivitis and reduction of oral bacterial load. Also used in various topical cleansing preparations.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to chlorhexidine.

Tooth staining, increased tartar formation, altered taste, and local irritation may occur.

Not a substitute for routine dental care. Prolonged use may increase staining and calculus formation.

Broad-spectrum antiseptic with antimicrobial activity against many oral and skin microorganisms.

Store at room temperature and keep container tightly closed.
