Uses
Used in combination with other antiretroviral medicines for the treatment of HIV-1 infection.
Do not use if
Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to lamivudine, zidovudine, or formulation components.
Side effects
May cause anemia, neutropenia, nausea, headache, myopathy, or fatigue. Serious reactions include lactic acidosis and liver toxicity.
