Uses

Topical skin brightening and whitening formulation indicated for hyperpigmentation, dark spots, and uneven skin tone. Contains multiple depigmenting and antioxidant agents to lighten and hydrate the skin.

Do not use if

Avoid on broken or severely irritated skin. Discontinue if persistent irritation or allergic reaction develops. Not for internal use.

Side effects

Generally well tolerated. Mild skin irritation, redness, or dryness may occur. Vitamin C can cause transient stinging. Bearberry extract contains arbutin, which may rarely cause allergic reactions.

Warnings

Avoid excessive sun exposure; use sunscreen. Perform a patch test before initial use. Prolonged use of high-concentration arbutin should be monitored for paradoxical hyperpigmentation.

How it works

Bearberry extract (arbutin) and liquorice extract (glabridin) inhibit tyrosinase, the key enzyme in melanin biosynthesis. Vitamin C reduces oxidized melanin intermediates. Panthenol and glycerin act as humectants, while vitamin E provides antioxidant protection.
