Used for susceptible respiratory, skin, ear, and Helicobacter pylori-associated infections.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in hypersensitivity to macrolides and with certain interacting medications such as cisapride, pimozide, and ergot derivatives.

Nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain, altered taste, and headache may occur.

May cause QT prolongation, hepatotoxicity, and severe hypersensitivity reactions.

Macrolide antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit.

Store at room temperature according to product instructions.
