Uses
A topical analgesic and anti-inflammatory formulation used to relieve minor joint and muscle pain, stiffness, and soreness. Glucosamine and chondroitin sulphate support cartilage health, while camphor, menthol, and MSM provide counterirritant and anti-inflammatory effects.
Do not use if
Not for use on open wounds, damaged skin, near the eyes, or mucous membranes. Avoid in patients with known allergy to any component. Not intended for internal use.
Side effects
Generally well tolerated topically. Local reactions such as redness, rash, or burning sensation may occur, particularly from camphor or menthol. Hypersensitivity reactions are rare. Avoid mucous membranes and broken skin.
Warnings
For external use only. Keep away from eyes and mucous membranes. Do not apply to broken or irritated skin. Wash hands after application. Keep out of reach of children. Discontinue if skin irritation or allergic reaction develops.
How it works
Camphor and menthol act as counterirritants, stimulating cold and warm receptors in the skin to temporarily override pain signals. MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) provides bioavailable sulfur to support connective tissue. Glucosamine and chondroitin sulphate may promote cartilage matrix synthesis. Emu oil enhances transdermal penetration of active ingredients, and Vitamin C supports collagen synthesis.
Storage
Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep container tightly closed.
