Uses
A multivitamin and multimineral supplement used to prevent or correct nutritional deficiencies and to support general health, including during periods of increased need such as pregnancy, convalescence, or inadequate dietary intake.
Do not use if
Should not be used in people with hypersensitivity to any component, or in conditions of mineral overload such as iron overload (hemochromatosis), hypercalcemia, or hypervitaminosis.
Side effects
Generally well tolerated. Mild gastrointestinal upset, nausea, or constipation may occur, often related to the iron content, and urine may appear darker.
Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended dose. Keep iron-containing products out of reach of children, as overdose can be serious. Separate intake from medicines that bind minerals.
