Uses

Used for topical treatment of superficial bacterial infections of the eye and its surrounding tissues. May be used for susceptible external ear infections depending on formulation.

Do not use if

Hypersensitivity to neomycin, polymyxin, gramicidin, or any component.

Side effects

Local irritation, itching, redness, swelling, or allergic reactions may occur.

Warnings

For topical ophthalmic or otic use only as directed. Prolonged use may increase the risk of sensitization or resistant organisms.
