Uses

Used for serious bacterial infections including intra-abdominal, respiratory, skin, pelvic, and other susceptible infections.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to penicillins, cephalosporins, or beta-lactamase inhibitors.

May cause diarrhea, nausea, rash, hypersensitivity reactions, and abnormalities in laboratory tests.

Monitor for severe hypersensitivity reactions and Clostridioides difficile-associated diarrhea.

Combines a broad-spectrum penicillin antibiotic with a beta-lactamase inhibitor to extend antibacterial activity.

Store according to manufacturer recommendations before reconstitution.
