Uses
Used in chronic venous insufficiency, hemorrhoidal disease, and diabetic microangiopathy including diabetic retinopathy.
Do not use if
Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to calcium dobesilate.
Side effects
May cause nausea, diarrhea, skin rash, fever, and joint pain.
Warnings
Rare cases of agranulocytosis have been reported. Medical evaluation is advised if fever or sore throat develops.
