Uses
A neurotropic supplement used to support nerve function and reduce symptoms of peripheral neuropathy. Indicated in diabetic neuropathy, nutritional deficiencies affecting the nervous system, and as adjunctive support for neurological conditions.
Do not use if
Avoid in known hypersensitivity to any component. Use with caution in patients on anticoagulant therapy due to potential interactions.
Side effects
Generally well tolerated. High doses of vitamin B6 may cause sensory neuropathy with prolonged use. Alpha-lipoic acid may occasionally cause nausea or skin rash.
Warnings
Do not exceed recommended dose of vitamin B6 to avoid peripheral neuropathy. Monitor blood glucose as ALA may lower blood sugar levels in diabetic patients on hypoglycemic therapy.
How it works
Alpha-lipoic acid (ALA) is a potent antioxidant that improves mitochondrial function and reduces oxidative stress in nerve tissue. Benfotiamine is a fat-soluble thiamine derivative that inhibits advanced glycation end-products. B vitamins (B6, B12, folate) are essential cofactors for nerve myelination and neurotransmitter synthesis. Vitamin D3 supports neuronal survival and modulates neuroinflammation.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from light. Keep out of reach of children.
