Uses

Used for the treatment of mild, moderate, and severe dementia associated with Alzheimer's disease.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to donepezil, piperidine derivatives, or formulation components.

Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, insomnia, muscle cramps, and dizziness may occur.

May cause bradycardia, syncope, gastrointestinal bleeding, and enhanced effects during anesthesia.

Central acetylcholinesterase inhibitor that increases acetylcholine concentrations in the brain.

Store at 15–30°C.
